What is a telehealth consultation?

A telehealth consultation is a remote appointment conducted over video or phone with one of our doctors, who are registered with AHPRA.
This allows you to receive medical care from the comfort of your home without needing to attend a clinic in person. We recommend video consultations as they simplify identity verification.

How do I book a telehealth appointment?

You can book directly online through the “Book Now” tiles for each service, or by phone through our admin team.

What services can I access via telehealth?

Our doctors can assist with repeat prescriptions, specialist referrals, pathology and radiology requests, medical certificates, weight management support, mental health consultations, and much more.
See the links at the bottom of this page for detailed information on each service.

Do I need special software or equipment?

You will need a stable internet connection and a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. No additional software is required beyond your internet browser or phone line. If you require an audio-only consultation, proof of identity will be required, which can be uploaded during the registration process.

Do I need to complete an onboarding process the first time I book?

Yes. You will be required to fill out a detailed digital questionnaire which includes uploading a form of photo ID such as your Medicare card or passport during registration. This usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.

What if I need a physical examination or in-person care?

If your doctor determines you require an in-person consultation or further assessment, you will be referred to an appropriate local healthcare service. Your safety always comes first.
Prescriptions & Medications

Can your doctors prescribe medication online?

Yes. Our doctors can issue prescriptions during your telehealth consultation following a real-time clinical assessment.
Prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy as an eScript QR code with no paper required.
For a full list of what we commonly prescribe, and what we are unable to prescribe via telehealth, please see our Prescriptions page here.

Can I get a repeat prescription online?

Yes, in most cases. Our doctors can renew prescriptions for stable, ongoing conditions following a consultation to confirm your treatment is still appropriate.
Repeat prescribing is never automatic and your doctor will always review your situation first. For full details see our Prescriptions & Repeat Prescriptions page here.

Do you prescribe semaglutide for weight management?

Yes. Our GPs can prescribe semaglutide as part of a medically supervised weight management plan following a real-time telehealth consultation.
For full eligibility criteria, side effects, and what the consultation involves, please see our Weight Management page here.

Specialist Referrals

Can an online GP provide a specialist referral?

Yes. Our GPs can issue specialist referrals following a real-time telehealth consultation, in exactly the same way as an in-person GP.
A referral will be provided where your doctor determines it is clinically appropriate. For information on which specialists we refer to, how long referrals last, and how to request one, please see our Specialist Referrals page here.

Pricing, Fees & Medicare

Do you bulk-bill?

We are currently a private billing practice.
However, we can provide referrals for some bulk-billed services, including Mental Health Care Plans and psychology services. From January 2027, we also plan to offer bulk-billed urgent care consultations for eligible after-hours and weekend appointments, subject to confirmation of Medicare eligibility criteria.
For full details on fees, Medicare rebates and bulk bulling eligibility, please see our pricing page here.

I do not hold a Medicare card. Can I still get a prescription?

Yes. You will be charged the private fee advertised on our website.
If you are on a working or student visa, we recommend obtaining an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI), which allows you to receive eScripts digitally.
For information on how to obtain an IHI and whether you may be eligible for Medicare, please see our International Patients & Medicare page here.

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

You are entitled to a refund or fee waiver if your doctor does not attend, if there is a significant delay of more than 30 minutes, or if a technical failure prevents the consultation from proceeding. You will be charged the full fee if you do not attend, arrive more than 10 minutes late, or if your consultation cannot proceed because you have requested a medication we are unable to prescribe via telehealth.

Cancellation policies may be updated from time to time. Please check our full cancellation policy page here before booking.

What if the doctor is running late?

We understand your time is valuable. If we are running more than 15 minutes late we will notify you. If your doctor has not commenced your consultation within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, you are entitled to a full refund.

Can I get a medical certificate for more than one day?

Yes, but please note that a standard medical certificate covers the day of consultation only and requires a standard consultation. Certificates covering multiple days require a long consultation and a clinical assessment of any underlying conditions affecting your capacity to work or study.

Is my information kept private and secure?

Yes. All telehealth appointments and your personal health information are managed in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and relevant security standards. Your consultation notes, prescriptions, and medical records are stored securely and only accessed by your treating practitioners.

How do I make a complaint?

We take complaints seriously and maintain a formal complaints process with written responses provided within 14 business days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, we will advise you how to escalate to the relevant body, which may include AHPRA, your state or territory health complaints commission, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Our doctors are registered with AHPRA and practise in accordance with the Medical Board of Australia’s Good Medical Practice guidelines and Telehealth Consultations with Patients guidelines.
Please read our full terms and conditions before booking. By booking online you acknowledge you have read and accepted our full terms and conditions.
