Can I get a medical certificate via telehealth?
Yes. Our doctors can issue medical certificates during a telehealth consultation where it is clinically appropriate to do so.
A certificate will only be issued following a genuine real-time consultation not on request alone. Your doctor will use their clinical judgement to determine the appropriate duration and content of any certificate issued.
Can I get a medical certificate for more than one day?
Yes, in some circumstances. However, the following applies:
- A standard medical certificate covers the day of consultation only and requires a standard consultation.
- Certificates covering multiple days require a long consultation and a clinical assessment of any underlying conditions affecting your ability to study or work.
- Your doctor will use their clinical judgement to determine the appropriate duration. A multi-day certificate cannot be guaranteed on request.
If your university requires a specific form or statutory declaration rather than a standard medical certificate, please let our admin team know when booking so we can confirm whether we are able to assist.
Our doctors are registered with AHPRA and practise in accordance with the Medical Board of Australia’s Good Medical Practice guidelines and Telehealth Consultations with Patients guidelines. Please read our full terms and conditions before booking. By booking online you acknowledge you have read and accepted our full terms and conditions.
